Every art town has great museums and experiences, and we have many; here are just a few of our favorites: Architectural fans, be sure to visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West . For those who never miss a local Botanical Garden, be sure to visit the Desert Botanical Garden , November 10, 2013- May 18, 2014 you can enjoy the beautiful Chihuly exhibit in addition to the wonderful Gardens. For the music lovers out there, you must experience the Musical Instrument Museum, the World’s only Global Musical Instrument Museum. For the contemporary art lovers, a visit to SMOCA is in order, where you will find the most compelling modern and contemporary art and architecture from around the world. In downtown Scottsdale, be sure to take the 60 minute self-guided tour of Public Art – all in all, there are 70 works of public art, this tour will show you the Top 10. And, on Thursday nights, be sure to enjoy Art Walk from 7 pm- 9 pm in downtown Scottsdale. For a wonderful Native American experience, visit The Heard Museum in Phoenix. For great performance art, visit Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and for a one of a kind experience celebrating the Native American Culture through song and dance, see Native Trails, which is a truly magical experience.
