There’s something about sunflowers that always stops me for a moment. They feel warm, grounded, and honest like they’re constantly turning themselves toward whatever light they can find. And maybe I connect with them so much because every time I open the door of my garage, I’m greeted by a whole field of sunflowers. I’ve watched them being planted, growing day by day, and later being harvested. That everyday view, that small ritual of seeing them change with the seasons, is what inspired me to paint this piece.
Golden Pause came from that simple, quiet admiration. I wanted to capture a sunflower not in its perfect, upright moment, but in this softer, more intimate pose, where the petals fall with a kind of effortless elegance.
I imagine this piece hanging in a kitchen, a reading corner, or even a hallway anywhere someone wants a touch of warmth and calm. The golden tones bring an instant brightness to the room, while the shadows and greens hold it in a peaceful balance. It’s a painting that feels alive without asking for attention; it just gently fills the space.

Shipping is calculated individually for each piece and depends on the size of each painting, the work will be packed seeking the greatest security of the work during its journey.
Shipping is not included in the price of any work.
In-stock paintings ship within 7 days of purchase. And it will be quoted and processed through: USPS, UPS, Fedex, Freight, Beavers.
A discussion will be made with the buyer, seeking the greatest security for the work and the best cost.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been shipped with your tracking number. The original artwork is shipped with the certificate of authenticity.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. We accept returns for refund or exchange, or for items damaged in transit. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must first email us within 7 days of receiving the artwork at: tatiana.hrajkov@gmail.com to alert us of the damage, then return the damaged item to us. Upon receipt of the damaged item we will ship out a replacement, if available. Or a painting of the same size is made to the client's liking. The return cost is borne by the customer and the new shipment by the artist.
