6 x 18 Oil and Patina on metal. Framed in black floater style.    This piece is a little different in that the inspiration or beginning was less about what I wanted to paint rather than the patina telling me what should be on here.   The patina is applied by spray, brush or sponge under high heat and while I am pretty confident in predicting what will happen, there are a lot of ‘happy accidents’ that appear.  This is one such piece in that it seemed like a scene I came across two years ago on a trip through Colorado farm country.   Once the colors developed and I could seal the piece I knew exactly what to paint on here.
