Wallflowers allow you to create your own colorful garden of glass blooms to dance across your walls, bringing vibrant joy to any room in your home. Kiln formed in fused glass, each Wallflower is hand cut and layered, then carefully finished before firing with hand-sifted glass powder, to create a deeper-hued edge. After the initial firing to unite the glass layers into one, each glass round is then fired again atop a small steel canister, the heat causing the flat glass to gently drape down into the wonderful, natural looking folds that create the dimensional blooms. This process can sometimes take many firings to move the glass into just the right shape. The flower centers are created in much the same way, but with the addition of richly colored, reflective dichroic glass to add the perfect pop of sparkle. These wallflowers measure 26″x26″ on the wall.
