“As an international flight attendant I was able to study Japanese paper art. I was inspired by my sen-sei (teacher) who was 78 years old at the time of my instruction. I feel very privileged to have been able to learn this dying art under Yuriko Kodama. My goal is to share the Japanese kimono and the beauty of their special papers that I use for making the kimono.”
