Who isn’t a fan of the Sonoran Desert’s arguably most famous, busy and adorable avian denizen, the Gambel’s Quail?
“Gambel’s Quail & Prickly Pear” is a collaborative mixed media art work created by bead artist Diana Ferguson and painter Kenneth Ferguson. Diana has bead-stitched the prickly pear motifs on the right side of the piece while Kenneth has painted the Gambel’s Quail using watercolor and gouache. The painting is archivally varnished, eliminating the need for glass.
This piece is ideal for the smaller places in your home and will also make a lovely gift for desert lovers, bird watchers, or even grandchildren!
Glass cylinder beads, monofilament thread, watercolor. 7-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ x 1-1/2″. Wired and ready to hang or can be displayed on any flat surface.
